Heritage Lottery Fund

The Heritage Centre is a valuable asset to the community ensuring that Smethwick’s rich heritage is available for future generations to see.

The building of the Centre has been financed by generous funding from The Heritage Lottery Fund, Smethwick Regeneration Partnership, its members, local industry and businesses and by grants from a number of charitable trusts.

To secure its long-term future, we need more sponsorship from local industries and businesses as well as more members of the public joining the existing membership.

Would you please consider becoming a sponsor, we understand the financial pressures on businesses and the need to justify all expenditure, we hope however that you agree with us that it is important to
remember the town’s proud industrial record and to continue to help current and future
generations to feel part of Smethwick’s past and future.

We are seeking sponsorship from businesses through;

• Annual or one off financial donations, which will be recorded on our Web site, on our “Sponsors Board” at the Centre itself and in the Trusts bi-monthly magazine “The Smethwick Telephone”.
  

• Donations of Smethwick memorabilia for display at the Centre and at the Roadshows held throughout the year. Members of the Trust receive a bi-monthly magazine “The Smethwick Telephone” which
  brings members up to date with the activities of the Trust and contains stories and articles
  about Smethwick’s history.
